AI-Assisted Workflows

Integrating advanced tools into historical research and cultural resource practice.

AI Agent Workflows for CRM Firms

HRS is developing privately deployable AI workflow agents for cultural resource management firms. The first workflow focuses on report QA, formatting, firm style, internal consistency, and NRHP / Section 106 reasoning issues while keeping sensitive material inside the client’s controlled environment.

It is designed for local, internal server, Docker, or firm-controlled cloud deployments, including selected Google Drive, SharePoint, or OneDrive folders.

A Section 106 Compliance Platform

Alongside the agent workflows, HRS has built a full compliance platform: one structured project record covering Section 106 tracking, archaeological site and shovel test data, historic property inventories, SHPO and tribal consultation, mapping, and agency-ready document export.

Restricted archaeological content is excluded from cloud AI generation by design, and every AI-extracted field carries the source page it came from so a reviewer can verify it. It is currently offered as a guided pilot.

This work is grounded in professional historical methodology. AI tools augment — not replace — the judgment, expertise, and interpretive skill that define rigorous historical practice.
